Philips HeartStart FRx Child/Infant Key

The Philips HeartStart FRx AED relies on a child/infant key to adjust the shock output for pediatric patients. Because of the child/infant key, the FRx AED is able to use one type of defibrillation pads for every patient. 

WARNING

In order to use the FR3 AED on persons 8 years old or younger or who weigh less than 55 pounds you must use the infant/child key to adjust the shock setting for the AED unit. Failure to do so may result in severe bodily harm or even death.
